Tarkib

tarkīb or tarchīb (Arabic : to
fix), refers to the strip of cotton lining applied to strengthen the main fabric and prepare it to receive the gilded embroidery zarī, around the neck and the front central hemline opening. Where cotton threads are used  to fix the lining on
to the inner edges of the cloth. The letter (Kaf) in some Arabic regions is pronounced (cha).
