Mcha‘abah: (Arabic : muka’ab: square), denotes to cloaks (abayāt) decorated with a continuous chain of silver straw (tallī) embellishment across all hemlines, by repeating two alternating stitches; four (cross) stitches, followed by four (stem) stitches. Colloquially in Arab gulf dialects, the letter (kāf) is pronounced (cha).
