Bū_chabāt: (Arabic: bū: diminutive of abū: father, chabāt: chab: spill). Colloquially in the UAE, the term refers to any fabric decorated in random motif resembling spilled liquid, about the size of an open palm. Also pronounced (bū_ bchāt).
