Charlotte Leslie
Managing Director of CMEC
Charlotte Leslie is the Managing Director of CMEC (Conservative Middle East Council). From 2010-2017 she was a UK Member of Parliament. In 2013 she was awarded ‘Backbench Parliamentarian of the Year’ for her work on healthcare. She sat on the Health and Education Select Committees and was chair of All-Party Groups on Boxing and on Saudi Arabia. Prior to entering Parliament, Charlotte worked on education policy at the think-tank Policy Exchange. She started her career in television production at the BBC. She studied Classics at Balliol College, Oxford. She writes for The Telegraph, Prospect Magazine and other national publications and is a regular media commentator. Her other voluntary roles include being trustee of the Aspen Initiative UK, she was the Government’s appointed Trustee to The Football Foundation, and is a trustee of boxing charity, Empire Fighting Chance.

Minister of Tolerance & Coexistence
His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan is the Minister of Tolerance & Coexistence in the new Cabinet announced in October 2017.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak joined the Federal Government in 1990 and held a number of government portfolios including Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and held the position of Minister of Education, and Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak was also Chancellor of United Arab Emirates University from 1983 to 2013; Chancellor of Higher Colleges of Technology from 1988 to 2013; and President of Zayed University from 1998 to 2013 .
