Yosegire_kimono: A traditional Japanese style of fabric art in which scraps of different fabrics are put together to make clothes or household decorative items. Originated during the Edo period – 1603-1867 CE – for preserving the lifespan of valuable fabrics it soon became a fashionable hobby amongst the wealthy women.
