Uchikake_kimono

Uchikake_kimono: (Japanese: Uchikakeru – To drape over), a women’s traditional over kimono worn mostly during weddings by brides but could be worn by both married and unmarried women. Slightly padded with long sleeves, the traditional wedding variations are pure white a nod to the Muromachi period (1336-1573) when it first appeared.
