Sarbāl: (Persian: sirbāl, sir: over, bal: body, pl. sarawīl/sarāwīlāt, synonyms: Ṣarwāl, sharwāl, sirwāl, khalag), baggy trousers with drawstring (Nis’ah) fastened at the waistline. Worn by men, women, and children, it can extend from the navel to the knees or feet.
