Ḥyīl: (Arabic: ḥijl, pl. ḥjūl: bracelet). The term denotes a bracelet worn on hands or ankles. It also can be used to point to the adornment on garments when placed on the wrist or ankle cuffs. The letter (jīm) is turned (ya) in Arab gulf dialects.
