Boyamā: (Turkish: painting; dyeing), a square printed Scarf similar to Turkish Yazma made of cotton or silk and adorned with vibrant colourful patterns worn in the Levant and Fertile Crescent regions of the Arab world. It was a term originally assigned to dyed and patterned scarves of Turkish Ottoman origin.
