‘Abāyat_chatif: (Arabic: ‘Abāyah: outer cloak, chatif: Katif: shoulder), in most of the Arab Gulf region the term is used when an outer cloak (‘Abāyah) is worn draped off the shoulders. Colloquially, the letter (kāf) is pronounced (cha) in many Arab dialects.
